About Mission Mandir

Greater Noida West Kali Bari — a public charitable trust.

Matri-Peeth came into existence in 2019, when a few like-minded Bengali families from the residential societies of Greater Noida West shared one dream — a Kali Bari of their own.

Mission Mandir is how that dream gets built: a stone temple for Ma Durga and Ma Kali, a Seba Sadan beside it, and a campus that carries the language and the culture forward. The ground is being bought one square inch at a time, at ₹10 each, so the mandir belongs to thousands of families rather than a handful of names on a plaque.

Objective

Six things this mandir is meant to do.

A permanent home for Maa

To build a stone mandir for Ma Durga and Ma Kali that will stand for two hundred years, so that no generation of this community has to borrow a pandal again.

A Kali Bari for the probasi Bengali

The Bengali community is not complete without a Kali Bari of its own. Matri-Peeth is that address for Greater Noida West.

Service alongside worship

Matri Seba Sadan — a hospital and dispensary on the same campus, because service to humanity is service to Maa.

Culture carried forward

Rooms, a library of Bengali literature and hostel facilities for Bengali students and tourists, so the language and the culture survive the move away from Bengal.

Owned by everyone

The ground is bought one square inch at a time at ₹10 each, so that ownership of Maa’s ground is spread across thousands of families rather than a few donors.

Run transparently

A registered public charitable trust with audited accounts, 80-G exemption and CSR registration, with every rupee accounted for before the members.
